Testimonials

Yasmine – New adult student
I am incredibly honored to have the opportunity to prove myself at the upcoming promotion test.
Joining the dojo has made fora transformational journey for my mind, body, and soul. Aside from teaching me oneness, Karate has brought me a new appreciation for discipline that influences all aspects of my life.
I feel more connected to myself, more focused in my studies, and more self-aware in my thoughts.
For that I am forever grateful and indebted, so I look forward to demonstrating that progress this coming Saturday.
Ethan – Pee Wee Student
We see Ethan becoming more passionate about Karate. He often practices punches and kicks, though he still struggles to remember Te-Waza outside class.
Ethan is continuing to become a more self-disciplined student at home. Often taking the initiative in doing his studies and chores etc. He is very goal oriented and competitive but becomes overly frustrated when he falls short of the goal.
He likes to play chess but either struggles when he loses a match or gives up early when he thinks he will lose, resigning after losing a queen. I’d like to see him showing more resilience and when loses or falls short, seeing it as a stepping stone towards excellence.
We are happy to see he is being more serious about Karate and hope he continues to it as fun while also being respectful in the dojo.
